Baroreceptor are those nerve ending which are located in the blood vessels(arteries,veins and capillaries) that detects the pressure of blood flowing in them.
°)Effect of baroreceptor if removed:
1):If Baroreceptor are removed from an artery, the pressure of blood in such artery cannot be detected.
2):If the Baroreceptor are removed from an artery, no signals would be sended to central nervous system(CNS).
3):Similarly the regulation and supply of blood volume and supply of blood cannot be regulated.
4):Finally high Blood pressure causes hemorrhage, strock, heart attack etc.
